Cover Options
Option 1: Comprehensive Plus Cover

This is our highest level of cover, with all the protection of the comprehensive cover, plus extras to enhance your cover.

Like comprehensive, we cover your vehicle for theft, accident damage, and natural disasters but with additional extra benefits:

• A replacement vehicle or inconvenience reimbursement whilst your vehicle is being repaired.
• No excess charges when you get an accident.
• Medical expense cover of up to TZS 500,000 The premium charged is 3.8% of the vehicle value for private vehicles.

Option 2: Comprehensive Cover

This policy provides coverage for third-party liability as well as damage caused to your vehicle. In comparison with third-party liability insurance, a comprehensive policy offers extensive coverage, more benefits and covers the damage caused to the insured car in case of an accident, collision, theft, etc.
Benefits:

• Cashless claim cover
• Towing charges cover
• Third-party damage
• Windscreen damage

The premium charged is 3.5% of the vehicle value for private vehicles and 4.25% - 5.5% of the vehicle value for commercial vehicles. A discount of 5% applies to all vehicles fitted with a tracking device.

Option 3: Third-Party Cover

This policy safeguards you from any legal liability due to your own car’s involvement in an accident. SIAL will compensate you for bodily injury and property damage to any third-party. The premium charged is as low as TZS 118,000 for private vehicles.
